It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s [NO SIGNAL]:

NEW YORK (Reuters) – General Motors Corp, whose chief executive was blasted last week by U.S. lawmakers for flying on a private jet to ask for public funds, has asked the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration to prevent public tracking of a jet it leases.

“We availed ourselves of the same option as others have,” to have the plane removed from the FAA’s tracking service, a GM spokesman, Greg Martin, said Thursday.

Gus the Cat

Gus the Cat

Gus the Cat would definitely go for this.  We bought the cats one of those robot mice a few years ago, and most of them just stared at it as it looped around the kitchen floor.  But Gus first figured out how it worked by turning it over, and then tried to ride it.

We were going out the other night and Kathy put her coat down on the kitchen table and turned her back for a moment.  I happened to glance over and Gus was quite methodically going through her coat pockets, reaching his paw in and feeling around for goodies before going on to the next pocket.

I had the horrible feeling he was looking for the car keys.
