From the bird’s beak:

How do you make money from Twitter?

Twitter has many appealing opportunities for generating revenue but we are holding off on implementation for now because we don’t want to distract ourselves from the more important work at hand which is to create a compelling service and great user experience for millions of people around the world. While our business model is in a research phase, we spend more money than we make.

via Twitter.

What a coincidence!  I have a plan to win the lottery, my very own appealing opportunity for generating revenue, but I’m holding off for now because I don’t want to distract myself from the more important work at hand, which is sifting the kitty litter and sorting my socks.  Please stand by.

much more via MPR: The LoopHole: “To Catch a Pr-” (strike that) “To BE a Predator…”.

File under “Why We Need Newspapers,” because when they’re gone, this is the only kind of “news” you’ll be getting.
